The Trojan football team will travel to Columbia High School Friday night for a scrimmage starting at 7:00 pm. The Jamboree Game, as it is referred to, is a “dress rehersal” for the upcoming regular season. The game also raises money for the Catastrophic Insurance Fund. Participating schools pay a fee, and the host school collects donations at the gate, which the OHSAA uses to ensure every junior and senior high athlete for a catastrophic injury. Jamborees began in 2009 and have previously generated more than $70,000 each year toward the Catastrophic Insurance fund.
