Trojans News · Trojans Lose State Semi-Final Game 2-1

The Trojans (22-4) Baseball team headed to Columbus on Thursday for the first time since 1984 and lost a close game 2-1 to Fort Loramie. Senior Jake Visha pitched 6.1 innings with 4 strikeouts and kept the Redskins off the scoreboard until the 6th inning. The Trojans took a 1-0 lead in the 5th when senior Zach Mammana doubled to lead off the inning and scored on an error. “This was a special group,” Coach Randy Rundgren said. “We knew that we had a chance to take the whole thing, but it just didn’t fall our way today.”
