The Varsity Football team headed to Hudson on Saturday afternoon to take on the Pioneers of Western Reserve Academy and came away with a 33-20 loss. The Trojans got on the board first with a 1-yard TD run by junior Cael Brown. Senior Mitchell Knotek converted his 7th PAT in a row to make it 7-0. After being tied at 7 at halftime the Pioneers raced out to a 26-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Backup QB, junior Zion Owens threw a TD pass to senior Dominic Blackstock to cut the lead to 26-13. Senior Kirk Colvin picked up a fumble and raced untouched to the endzone for a TD.
The Trojans (1-1) head to Oberlin this Friday night to take on the Phoenix. Kick off is at 7:00 pm.
