Trojans News · Henry Curtis Hired as Head Girls Soccer Coach

Tony SanFilippo, Athletic Director at Trinity High School, announced today that the Trojans have hired Henry Curtis as the new Head Girls Soccer Coach, and former Ursuline star Tara Lux as the new assistant coach for the 2020 season. “Trojan Nation couldn’t be more excited to add both Henry and Tara to our coaching ranks,” said SanFilippo. “Both bring a wealth of experience and success that they will pass on to our girls.”

It is a bit of a homecoming for Curtis, who used to walk the halls of Trinity and played on the Trojans first ever soccer team. Curtis’ experience includes head coach for Benedictine High School, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and currently serves as the head coach for Lakewood United Football Club and Youth Outreach Manager for the Cleveland Soccer Club. “I am honored to lead the girls soccer program at Trinity as the new head coach,” said Curtis. “I look forward to working with the student-athletes, their families and the school to continue Trinity’s tradition of excellence.”

Curtis knows that all great head coaches surround themselves with top-notch assistants and he has done that in hiring Tara Hux. Hux was a star for Chaminade Julienne High School in Dayton, before continuing her athletic and academic career as a Forward at Division II Ursuline College. “I am overjoyed to be working with Coach Curtis, and coach the young ladies at the very successful Trinity program.”
