The Trinity Athletic Department is excited to announce the addition of Rachel Ranc as Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the Lady Trojans. Ranc was a star at Brooklyn High School before moving on to Cleveland State University where she majored in History and Social Studies. She has been described as a “gym rat” as Ranc has always been close to the game as a player, coach, the daughter of an official, and the wife of a high school coach. Ranc is very fond of Trinity as her father is a 1986 graduate of the school.
“I am very excited to be joining the Trinity Girls Basketball family,” Ranc said. “I’m looking forward to being a part of this program on the rise, working with the dedicated and hard-working girls to compete at the highest level.” Head Coach Kevin McNamara added “Rachel experience on the bench, experience as a player, and an understanding of the game at a high level. Her role as a female leader will be critical in the development of our team and players. I’m excited to work with her.”
