March is National Athletic Training Month and the Trinity High School Athletic Department would like to recognize our Athletic Trainer, Jeff Kime. Athletic Trainers are being celebrated all across America this March and the slogan this year is “Essential to Healthcare.” Jeff has been an essential part of our Athletic Department at Trinity for the past 3 years and has been a certified Athletic trainer for 28 years!
When schools shut down last March due to COVID-19, Athletic Trainers were the first healthcare employees displaced. Across northeast Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Athletic Trainers proved to be essential healthcare workers. They jumped into action serving as COVID-19 screeners, provided relaxation stations for frontline caretakers, assisted with testing, and many other duties.
Jeff provides our student athletes with medical care in the areas of injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. He can also assist you in making an appointment with an appropriate medical professional. You can see Jeff in action working with our student athletes daily. The Athletic Training room is located near Britton Hall. However, his location varies depending on the season and home event needs.
Don’t hesitate contacting Jeff with any injury or illness concern. He is an essential asset to our athletic department and school!
