Senior goalie Ange Heese won the JJ Huddle/Bucknuts Ohio High School Athlete of the Week Award.
The Girls Soccer Team defeated Alliance yesterday 6 – 1, improving their record to 7 wins, 5 loses and 1 draw. Junior Brooke Garey scored 3 goals and had 2 assists; Junior Emma Polinski scored twice and had an assist; Junior Rose Eyerman scored and had an assist and Sophomore Elena Falcione had an assist.
Volley for the Cure™ was started by two friends in 2006 to bring awareness to breast cancer. Tonight’s game with Warren JFK will be the Lady Trojans fundraising match, with donations going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All fans are encouraged to wear pink. The varsity boys golf team, although outnumbered by the other two teams, emerged victorious yesterday at Shawnee Hills Golf Course. The “Fearsome Foursome” shot a 183, which helped them win both matches against Benedictine (197) and Lake Ridge Academy (203). The Trojans finished the season with a record of 8-6. Congrats to the Lady Trojan volleyball team as they defeated St. Thomas Aquinas last night 3-0 by the scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-13. It was a great offensive night with junior Ciara Parasisliti, 34 assists, spreading out the offensive to classmates Sydney Fecko with 11 kills, Katie Sparks with 6 kills, Alyson Deininger with 6
