Golfers Split Match

The Trojan golfers went 1 & 1 in a tri-match yesterday defeating Valley Forge 201 to 237 and losing to Parma 182 to 201.  Junior Anthony Basmagy shot 44, senior Joe Rolando scored a 45, and fellow senior Noelle Sadar had a personal best 51. Basmagy Shoots Low Score

The Trojans varsity Golf team was defeated by Berkshire High School yesterday, but Junior Anthony Basmagy shot his all time career low score of 42 at Pleasant Hills Golf Course. The Trojans are at Shawnee Golf Course today to face Benedictine and Wickliffe at 4:00 pm.

LeSueur Places 8th at State

Senior golfer Joey LeSueur tied for 8th place at this past weekend’s OHSAA Division III State Golf Tournament.  LeSueur has had an exceptionally successful high school career, earning him a varsity letter for the past four years.  Some of his accomplishments include earning the title of 1st Team in the North Coast League his junior

LeSueur Off To States

Senior Joey LeSueur is headed to Columbus to represent Trinity at the OHSAA Division III State Golf Tournament this weekend. He will play Friday and Saturday at the Scarlett Course at The Ohio State University. Joey is coached by the veteran Paul Prospal, who is assisted by Jack Jonozzo. Good Luck!

LeSueur Named MVP

The Trojan golf team took 3rd place in Wednesday’s North Coast League Championship at Pine Hills Golf Club.  Senior Joe LeSueur was named the White Division Most Valuable Player after shooting a 77. He was also a 1st Team All-NCL selection.  Seniors Ethan Filippi and Jarrett Bennett were also awarded with White Division 1st Team

Golfers Lose Season Finale

The Trinity golf team lost a close match with Independence on Thursday.  The team was again led by senior Joe LeSueur with a 1 over par 36 and senior Ethan Filippi with a 41. The Trojans final record stands at 9-5 on the season. The golfers tee it up next Wednesday in the North Coast

Golfers Split

The Trinity Trojan golf team gained a split in a tri-match on Wednesday defeating Benedictine, but losing to Western Reserve Academy.  The Trojans were led by senior Ethan Filippi with a 39 followed by senior’s, Joe LeSueur – 43 and Jarret Bennett -44. The Trojans take on Hawken on Friday at Wicked Woods Golf Course.

Golf Team Improves Record

The Trojan Golf Team improved to 6-2 on the season with victories over VASJ and Euclid on Saturday.  The team was led by Joe LeSueur with a 42, Jarrett Bennett with a 43, and Ethan Filippi with a 45. The Trojans battle with WRA on Wednesday, and Independence on Thursday this week.

Golf Season Tees Off

The boys golf team started the 2015 season last week with a 10th place finish at the JFK Invitational in Warren.  Leading the Trojans were seniors Joe LeSueur, with an 80, and Jarrett Bennett with a 90.  The team also played in the Nordonia Classic on Tuesday placing 8th out of 12 teams.  Senior Joe

Golfers Win

The varsity boys golf team, although outnumbered by the other two teams, emerged victorious yesterday at Shawnee Hills Golf Course. The “Fearsome Foursome” shot a 183, which helped them win both matches against Benedictine (197) and Lake Ridge Academy (203). The Trojans finished the season with a record of 8-6.
