Foss Chosen for East/West All-Star Game

Senior football player Ryan Foss was chosen to represent Trinity in the annual Greater Cleveland Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star Game. This year’s game will be played on Friday, June 7th at Baldwin Wallace College at 7:00 pm. Head Coach Jeff McSweeney was chosen as a member of the Coaching Staff for the East.

Trojans Win Thriller 24-20

The Trojan Varsity Football team evened its record to 2-2 with a 24-20 victory over host Mathews (Vienna) on Friday night. Freshman QB Ian Anderson‘s pass intended for freshman SB Lavelle Rean was tipped into the hands of junior WR Dominic Blackstock with 2:08 left in the game for the comeback win. Trojans Fall Short 13-6

The Varsity football team lost 13-6 last Saturday afternoon to CCC to finish 2-2 in the NCL White Division. Trailing 7-0 for most of the game, the special teams blocked a punt and recovered at the 2-yeard line.  Junior Bryon Thompson scored from 1-yard out and after a failed two-point conversion the Trojans trailed 7-6

The Varsity Football team defeated St. Thomas Aquinas, 39-6 last Saturday night on senior night at Bedford Bearcat Stadium.  Senior Running Back Andrew Kenaga had 140 yards rushing and 2 Touchdowns.  Senior Quarterback Kevin McSweeney threw for 134 yards and 1 Touchdown, a 33 yard pass to senior Wide Receiver Eric Filakosky.  McSweeney also scored

The Varsity Football Team defeated the defending Division VII State Champions, Warren JFK by a score of 31-20 last Friday night.  After trailing 14-0 in the first quarter, the Trojans got rolling on offense and got some key turnovers and stops on defense. Trojans Open Season With a 38-14 Victory Over Hawken

Trojans Win 21-0 in Finale

The Boys Varsity Football team won their last game of the season last Friday 21-0 over Youngstown Valley Christian on Senior Night. Leading the way on offense for the Trojans was junior RB Andrew Kenaga with 150 yards rushing and  2 TD’s.  Senior TE Caleb O’Donnell also caught a touchdown pass from junior Kevin McSweeney.
